Arrival and Departure

Arrive in ABUs.  In an effort to minimize everyone arriving at the same time and over taxing the medical staff, we ask that cadets arrive according to the following schedule:

  • ATS: 1930
  • NCOS: 1930
  • RCLS: 1900

Supper will not be served on Wednesday and lunch will not be served on Sunday.

Graduation will be on Sunday, October 23rd at 1000am in the Rec Center (Behind the Ed Center).
Out-processing will be at noon on the last day at building 9-131.
Parents can park along the street or in the parking lot of building 9-1.

Packing Lists

Here are the packing lists for students at MLA:

Accurate Medical Information

Because of the nature of the activities at MLA, it is vital that the information you supply in your application is accurate at the time of your application and upon in-processing at MLA.  For example, if there are any changes in your medical condition (including new restrictions and/or limitations), you must notify the Medical Officer at in-processing, if you have not done so prior to MLA.  Consistent with CAP’s Nondiscrimination Program, CAPR 36-1, no member will be excluded from participating in MLA because of a disability.  If you need an accommodation due to a disability, please contact the MLA Medical Officer, as soon as possible, so that reasonable accommodations can be explored.

Finally, due to the nature of the program and activities, CAP and its leadership cannot continually monitor compliance of your restrictions and/or limitations.  Accordingly, it is up to each cadet to participate actively in MLA within the cadet’s restrictions and/or limitations, and to use the accommodations provided, if necessary.

Out of State Applicants

If you are from a wing other than Minnesota, you must fill out the CAPF 60-81 and have your squadron commander’s actual signature.  The CAPF 60-81 can then be scanned and e-mailed to mla@mncap.org.  If there is a delay in getting these signatures and you will request an extension to the deadline.  You must e-mail mla@mncap.org as soon as possible for an extension to be considered.

Religious Services

Since this activity will be completed at noon on Sunday, we are not able to provide religious services; however, if you would like to pick your cadet up and bring them to a service on either Saturday or Sunday, it will not negatively affect their graduation of this activity.
Please contact us at mla@mncap.org if you have any questions or wish to take this option.
